Carlo Cattano met Ulas Cibuk , then Metehan cifci by chance during his travels over the world. They played one day toghether in the streets of Istanbul jamming toghether and the result was that all street was blocked, even if it was the first time they played together!

Santur , Didgeridoo and Daf drum , was the magic formula that catched the souls of the people in Istanbul .

After that , 3 days after they went to studio in Istanbul , and record a free improvisation in one night till morning time. Tottaly free, fresh and without arrangement , this is "Pangea" , the result of the first meeting of this 3 musicians that after some years , will develope to a concept much bigger called Shantijaz , a band that will keep touching souls and spreading his magic in the streets and festivals in Europe with great response wherever they go . This is Pangea , we are one.
